What’s Happening?
This year, the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation is launching a national initiative that brings together all band clubs and organisations involved in Maltese feasts for a shared purpose: supporting those in need.

We are inviting each group to organise one event during the year in aid of The Malta Community Chest Fund. These can be small or large — anything from a musical performance, a community lunch, a march, or any other activity that helps raise funds for this worthy cause.

Why?
The goal is simple: unity and generosity. Maltese feasts have always been about community, celebration, and tradition. Through this initiative, we’re encouraging groups — even those from different organisations within the same locality — to collaborate and show what’s possible when people come together for something bigger than themselves.

Where Does the Money Go?
At the end of the year, all the funds raised from these events will be pooled together and presented as one united donation on behalf of the entire feasts community, and the cheque will be presented during L-Istrina 2026. Each participating group will also be presented with a small token of appreciation, in recognition of their efforts and contribution.

How Can You Get Involved?
If you’re part of a band club, local committee, or any group involved in feasts and wish to take part, just download the below form and let us know what you’re planning. We’ll list participating entities on this website so the public can follow along and support them.
